Youth Ministries

The youth ministries here at First United Methodist are very diverse. We have weekly programs which include music, dance, videos, games, food,& Bible teachings, but we're also involved in mission trips, summer camp, and all kinds of other fun stuff. Basically, we just like to be together. We believe that God has huge plans for this ministry and that to be a part of it is to be a part of something eternal!

Sundays 3-5pm - This group is committed to being more than just a band, but also a team of youth who will walk out their faith on a daily basis. They lead worship for U-TURN and also some at Sunday School.

Weekly Programs

U-TURN - Sunday Nights from 5-7pm - This program is all about turning to God. We try to show youth who they are in Christ and how they can live lives which are radically different. This program includes: games, music, drama, videos, Bible teaching, discussions, food, and lots of fun.

THE GARAGE - Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8pm - The Garage is the place where youth come to "fill" up their tanks and to get "tuned-up." This Bible Study tackles some of the tough things that students face today and together, we search the Bible for answers.

Small Groups - (various times in homes) These groups are split by age and gender. This is the place to learn accountability - to share our lives - and just have fun.

Fuel - Tuesday mornings @7am (Various Restaurants) - Prayer Breakfast. We drive the Students to school afterwards.
