Join us this weekend!

Each weekend at First Methodist Lake Jackson, we offer three distinct worship opportunities on Sunday mornings including 8:00 AM, 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.  The 8:00 worship service takes place in the Chapel. The 9:00 & 11:00 worship services take place in our Sanctuary and additional information about each of these opportunities is below.

Sunday morning at 8:00 AM

Our 8:00 AM worship service features classic hymns, scripture readings, and a sermon by Pastor Geller. It offers a comfortable, small setting and meets in the Chapel.

Sunday morning at 9:00 AM

Our 9:00 AM worship service features modern music led by our Praise Band under the direction of worship leader, Joshua Johnson. The contemporary service includes praise music, a message by Pastor Geller and many times has prayer time & offers extra opportunities for worship. We also have Children's Church for kids Kindergarten - 2nd grade on 1st & 3rd Sundays and a Children's sermon geared just for kids on 2nd & 4th Sundays. We also offer "Joycare" during the 9:00 worship for families with special needs children. The children start worship with their family and at the time of the sermon, our Joycare volunteers will come and take the children for activities in their Joy room, giving the parents opportunity to listen & be a part of worship.

Sunday morning at 11:00 AM

Our 11:00 AM worship service is an atmosphere of celebration, classic hymns, songs of praise, contemporary, gospel and classical anthems anchored by our Choir under the direction of Eddie Vandewalker. The traditional service includes scripture readings, a sermon by Pastor Geller and special music & anthems by our choir. We also have a Children's sermon geared just for kids on 2nd & 4th Sundays.

Nursery is provided for both the 9 & 11 worship services!
