We recognize at FUMC that the Nursery is vital to growth and love in our church! These children are special gifts from God and we treat them in that way. We abide by the United Methodist Safe Sanctuary policy which states that there will always be 2 adults in the room with children. To ensure the safety and well being of the children, we employ staff members who take excellent care of the kids.

On Sunday morning, our Nursery is split between Birth - 1 year, 2-4 year olds. After 4 years, the children are encouraged to be in worship with their family or to attend our "Children's Church" twice a month. We also have Preschool Sunday school classes starting at 2 years old during the 10:00 hour.

In each class, the play is developmentally appropriate and snack is only given at the direction of the parent.
